I found out about JIN:R today and it makes me so happy! 😳
Before buying JIN:R I would like to ask :
1. If I have questions after purchase, can I ask questions in English?
2. Can JIN:R support Traditional Chinese language?
3. My website theme currently use 「Cocoon」 right now, Can be converted to JIN:R?
Thank you!! and sorry for asking the question in English 🙏- WP 6.1系

Hi, Hong Wei
2023/01/28 12:20I am Ryota of the JIN:R development team.
I'm glad to hear you say that.
I'll answer each of your questions in turn!
>1. If I have questions after purchase, can I ask questions in English?
Yes, Of course!!
I've communicated with you in English many times, so I don't think you'll have any problems.
There may possibly be some parts that are difficult to understand, but I would be happy to cooperate with you.
>2. Can JIN:R support Traditional Chinese language?
I can't tell you more about Traditional Chinese because I haven't verified it, but the fonts in JIN:R are basically the same as those in Google Fonts, etc., so you might want to check there.
Here are some excerpts from the fonts on JIN:R. Check them out!
1. Noto sans
2. Kiwi Maru
3. Shippori Mincho
>3. My website theme currently use 「Cocoon」 right now, Can be converted to JIN:R?
This could be quite difficult.
Cocoon and JIN:R have completely different specifications, so basically everything needs to be redone one by one.
So it would be nice to introduce JIN:R to the existing blog, but it would take a lot of time and effort.
But I know Cocoon to a certain extent, so if you have any problems with the setup, I'm always happy to help.
Anytime you have a sentence that's hard to understand, just ask!
Best regards
Hello Ryota
2023/01/28 18:28Thank you for such a detailed reply! ☺
1. Got it! Thank you very much.
2. Seems pretty good! I will use「Noto Sans TC」as Traditional Chinese font. 😉
3. It seems that it will be a little bit difficult to transfer from Cocoon to JIN:R
I found this article from the JIN:R manual
https://jinr.jp/manual/cocoon/ 👈
Maybe I'll dig a little deeper,
Hope the conversion process is not too hard. 😳
Hi,
2023/01/29 18:32>2. Seems pretty good! I will use「Noto Sans TC」as Traditional Chinese font.
Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude, but I didn't mean to imply that Noto Sans TC is not included in JIN:R.
If you want to use Noto Sans TC, you need to add CSS separately.
I'll give you the code so you can ask me when you need it.

Thanks for looking for it. It's pretty hard to find.
If you have a lot of articles, the collapse period will be longer, so I would recommend exporting the articles once to another site and proceed with the block replacement there.
